In this final piece, I wanted to create little woodland creatures that were doing something within the image.
I used one of the images I had in my photo library.
I was inspired by the Lemmings, and used the colours basing them on my final piece.
I first made multiple layers, one as the original layer, a copy of the original, and a plain layer were I drew all of the characters. I only used brush tools to make these characters. I used green as the hair and green as the clothing, to act as used little leaves to enhance the woodland creature affect I was presenting.
After drawing them all and shading the with a black opaque brush, I then put an overlay of gradient, casting a shadow from the left to the right. This made the whole image look a little more realistic. I then put a Photo Filter over the whole thing, making a green tint.

Here I used another one of my images from my photo library. Here I drew weird creatures that live amongst the grass. Here you can see the eldest (a father) looking after the younger creatures, who are playing on a dandelion that I took a photo of.
I used the same concept as I did on my previous final piece where I wanted to use brush tools to create characters from scratch interacting with the original image.
I was inspired by the Spiderwick Chronicles artwork, and the colours from Dobby the house elf from Harry Potter.
